- To give delegates a basic knowledge of the oil and gas industry
- To understand how crude oil and natural gas were formed
- To understand how underground locations for oil and gas are found
- To understand how to drill into those underground formations
- To understand how to bring oil and gas to the surface
- To understand how the crude oil and gas move from the well head to different processing plants
- To understand what happens to the crude oil and gas in the processing plants
